Family Business
Murphy Farms is a multi-generational, family run business. The roots of our heritage run deep in Hamilton County, Florida, where the Murphy family has farmed the land since the 1820s. Born and raised on this very land, our CEO, Stan Murphy, proudly grew up farming some of these same fields with his family. Now, having fostered that same sense of pride in his own family, Stan runs the 1,500 acres of row-crop, irrigated farmland that is Murphy Farms with his children and nephew, Alex Murphy.
From Our Florida Farm
All of our products are certified Fresh from Florida and are grown right here on our farm. That means everything we do—growing, storing, and supplying—all happens here in Florida. When it comes to our operation, we use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that our harvest and grain storage provide the upmost quality grain for our customers. Additionally, we utilize an onsite seed-cleaning and warehouse facility where we clean, bag, store and stage for shipping all of our grains. It’s this in-house style of operation that allows us to cultivate our turnkey approach to supplying grain, all the way from the seed to the shipping.
